Join Jessica Smith and Monica Cronin for an amazing Retreat at Mana Retreat Centre March 7-March 11 2022. The event is hosted by Amy of The Cotour. Mana Retreat Centre is set in 360 acres of native bush in the Coromandel. Amazing sea views await,  and you can climb the mountain summit or settle into the gentle sway of a hammock. There is a beautiful Sanctuary that you can wander to, or take a walk on different mapped tracks.

March 7:

2:00pm-3:30pm: Crystal Workshop: led by Monica - Introduction to Crystals: teaches how crystals work and how to connect to our energetic body. It then includes a short yoga flow with the intention of tapping into your intuition, followed by journaling and then a meditation to program a gifted crystal.

Fruit/tea/coffee/water - please note that we will not be having scheduled morning or afternoon teas. The meals are very nourishing and we ask that you be mindful in between scheduled meals in terms of what is scheduled and what you choose to consume.

* Each retreat goer will receive a crystal from WONDERMENT and a journal for the crystal workshop

* Use of Steam Sauna & Bush Bath (will be on request and scheduled - so that those whom want to use this during the retreat get to do so)

* Use of yoga equipment at Mana - no need to bring your own - except bolsters in some instances

Things of importance to note: PLEASE READ:

PAYMENTS: a non refundable deposit of $250 is required to secure your spot on the Retreat. Then the residual payments will be spread over 4 equal payments over 4 months. Payment plan is only available for those who book in the month of August or September - and subject to a 5% administration fee should you choose to use this option. After that date payment must be made in full at time of booking.

- If paying upfront - $250 of your payment is considered to be the non-refundable deposit - the administration fee.

- Should you require the payment plan - please email amy@thecotour and this can be arranged.

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

COVID-19:

* If Covid-19 affects the intended date of the Retreat - we reserve the right to postpone.

* If you can not make the postponement date you can request a name change to another person (whom you organise-we will not be organising name changes - any transactions around this would be between you and the person who is taking your spot. )The attendee must sign the Terms and Conditions of the Retreat in order to be able to participate - and pay an administration fee to The Cotour of $150. Any name changes must be made within 14 days of confirmation of any postponement date offered. 

NB: There is no compulsion to offer a name change. It is just an option available.

* If you can not organise a replacement for the Retreat - you will receive a refund less the $250 administration fee and any associated transaction and/or service fees. 

* If we can not provide a suitable postponement date you will receive a refund less any transaction and/or service fees.

CANCELLATION BY YOU:

If you cancel the following applies:-

* Cancellations over 90 days out from the Event: Refund of any amounts paid - less $250 administration fee and any service and/or transaction fees. If you have used the payment plan option the non-refundable deposit of $250 applies.

* Cancellations 60 - 90 days out from the Event: 75% refund - less $250 administration fee and any service and/or transaction fees. If you have used the payment plan option the non-refundable deposit of $250 applies-rather than the administration fee and any service and/or transaction fees.

* Cancellations 30 - 60 days out from the Event: 50% refund - less $250 administration fee and any service and/or transaction fees. If you have used the payment plan option the non-refundable deposit of $250 applies-rather than the administration fee and any service and/or transaction fees.

* Cancellation 15 - 30 days out from the Event: 25% refund - less $250 administration fee and any service and/or transaction fee. If you have used the payment plan option the non-refundable deposit of $250 applies-rather than the administration fee and any service and/or transaction fees.

* Cancellation within 15 days of the Event: no refund given.

CANCELLATION BY US:

- If for any reason we need to cancel the event rather than postpone - you will be fully refunded - other than any transaction and/or service fees.

COMPLETION OF REGISTRATION:

- Completion of Registration is contingent on completion of the following:

Room Share Matching:

* In most cases we will be able to assist in room share matching - if you require this please advise Amy - before purchasing. Amy will advise of availability at that time. Room Share matching will only be provided for Ponga lodge and the Main lodge.

Room Sharing:

If you are purchasing a Twin or Double or Triple or Quad accommodation package: - please advise as to who you will be sharing with - by emailing amy@thecotour.com at time of purchase. We require that those whom you are sharing with make a deposit within 48 hours of you making your booking and deposit.

Room Details: 

A good night’s rest is essential for well-being. To support your comfort our beds are made up with fresh linen, soft pillows and towels. Some people find ear plugs helpful in shared rooms. On a crisp cool night you will find additional woolen blankets, a small heater and hot water bottles to add warmth. For those venturing to the sauna or bush bath extra towels are available.

Most rooms are twin share and if you are requesting to be Room Share Matched -  allocated to the same gender. We have a limited number of rooms with double beds for couples and a few single beds available in the main centre building. The photo on this page shows one of our largest rooms with four beds.

Mana Room Descriptions:

Ponga Lodge: a short walk from the main lodge, meeting and dining room. Near sauna and guest kitchen. Share bathrooms – 4 showers and 2 toilets. 2 single beds and wash basin in each room.

Moana Lodge: close to the main lodge, meeting and dining rooms. Moana rooms 1-6 have ensuite bathrooms

Main Lodge: rooms adjacent to meeting, dining, kitchen and library. Share bathrooms – 3 toilets, 2 showers.

Massages:

A limited number of massages will be able to be scheduled over the Retreat period - this is at an extra cost to you and will be invoiced separately to the retreat and is only confirmed on receipt of payment. All payments for massages must be paid for at least 7 days out from the Retreat start date.

A yoga practitioner from my mid teens, I have been lucky enough to study with Janet Stone, Dharma Mitra, Donna Farhi, Rod Styker and others in the SF Bay Area and India.  I have been teaching since I was 18 and teaching in here in NZ from 2007. I have ran two successful yoga studios in NZ and on top of all the yoga adventures so far, I  have two wild children, an awesome and supportive husband and a dog named Maverick who knows nothing but unconditional love.

Monica Cronin:
Monica started practising yoga when she was sixteen and in 2018 completed her first 200hr Vinyasa and Yin yoga teacher training, during which she found her passion for teaching and sharing yoga. Since then Monica has completed an Embodied Flow training as well as assisted and completed another 200hr Vinyasa Yoga teacher training in 2020. When teaching Monica access her flow state where she is deeply connected to her self and her students. She is passionate about fluid practices that give space and options for students to refine the practice to suit their own needs. Monica guides her students to explore their bodies and minds from a place of curiosity, truth, and freedom.
